UI Cheats Extension for The Sims 4

Every cheat in this mod is a click on something already on your screen. Left-click a needs bar and the need jumps to the point you clicked. Right-click the same bar and you type an exact number instead. Nothing goes through the cheat console, and you do not need testingcheats true switched on.

These are the clicks people use most.

Right-clicking reaches a lot further than this. You can remove a moodlet, re-roll or complete a Want, fulfil an aspiration goal, set a university grade, unlock club and business perks, change the season or the weather with Seasons installed, pick an occult rank, or unlock an item in the Rewards Store. weerbesu has maintained the UI Cheats Extension since June 2015, across more than seventy releases. The download has always been a public Patreon post rather than a paid one: the zip is attached to the post, the post is not paywalled, and no tier is required to see it.

If you are weighing up whether to trust a mod you have not installed before, the numbers help. As of 22 September 2026 the Patreon post had 19,393 likes and 3,677 comments, weerbesu's Patreon had 86,551 members, and the separate Legacy Edition build on Mod The Sims had been downloaded 3,158,516 times.

This site does not host the file and never links to a copy of it. Reuploads do circulate on third-party file hosts and mod aggregators, and none of them are weerbesu's channels, which is the whole reason to go to the source. UI Cheats is a script mod, and The Sims 4 on consoles does not load script mods of any kind. There is no Xbox or PlayStation build and there is no workaround, whatever a few guides still say. Console support explains what you can use instead.

On Windows and Mac there are still gaps. None of the following appear in the author's feature list, so treat them as things the mod does not do:

• Rename a Sim.
• Edit lot traits.
• Reset a Sim, kill a Sim, or set a death type.
• Control a pregnancy.
• Add a moodlet or a buff. Removing one is supported; adding one is not.
• Pause the game or change its speed. The clock cheat only sets the time of day.

Almost every report comes down to one of three causes, and they are worth checking in this order.

Your mod version does not match your game version. This is the one the author singles out: interface problems caused by the mod, whether that is a missing panel, text or graphics glitches, or a menu that freezes, are always a version mismatch. Patch the game to the current version, then install the newest release of the mod.

A dialog opens but typing a value does nothing. That is the author's own split diagnosis: the package file loaded and the script file did not. Check that the .ts4script file is actually in the Mods folder, that it is no more than one subfolder deep, that Script Mods Allowed is ticked, and that you restarted the game after ticking it.

You have more than one copy installed. Keep exactly one. Old versions, backups and renamed duplicates all count, so delete them rather than tucking them into another folder inside Mods.

Beyond those, the usual suspects are a conflicting user interface mod, a stale thumbnail cache, and on Windows a Documents folder that OneDrive has taken over. Fix UI Cheats when it stops working goes through all of them in the order that actually resolves things.

The two mods solve different problems. UI Cheats changes values you can already see in the game's panels, by clicking them. MC Command Center is a much larger script mod, best known for story progression and for settings you reach through pie menus rather than through the interface.

You can run both. weerbesu states that UI Cheats only conflicts with other user interface mods that override the same resources, and not with script mods or tuning mods, and guides that cover both report them running side by side. If you do run a second UI mod and something looks wrong, install UI Cheats on its own first, then add the others back one at a time until the problem reappears.
