Privacy policy

• No accounts, no sign-in, no forms to fill in.
• No analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts of any kind.
• The site itself sets no cookies.
• One setting is kept in your own browser: whether you chose the light or the dark theme.
• Our host, Cloudflare, sees the requests your browser makes, as any web host does.
• Nothing here is sold, shared or handed to an advertiser, because nothing is collected.

The pages on this site are plain HTML, CSS and a few lines of JavaScript that run in your browser and talk to nothing. There is no analytics product, no tag manager, no heatmap, no advertising network, no social media widget, no embedded video and no comment system.

The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, so opening a page here does not make your browser contact another company. Images are served from this domain too. Unless you click a link that leads somewhere else, a visit involves exactly one website.

We do not ask for your name, your email address or anything else. If you choose to email us about a correction, we use your address to answer you and nothing more. It is not added to any list, because there is no list.

The site has a light and dark theme toggle. When you pick one, your choice is written to your browser's local storage under the key "theme", so the next page you open is already in the right colours instead of flashing white first. Setting the toggle back to "system" deletes it.

That value never leaves your device. It is not a cookie, so it is never attached to a request and we never see it. It contains one word, either "light" or "dark", and nothing that could identify you. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes it, and the site works fine without it, falling back to whatever your operating system prefers.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes and may record technical details about them, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser and operating system your request reports. That data is processed by Cloudflare to deliver the site, to keep it available, and to protect it from abuse and attacks.

We do not have a dashboard of visitor records, we do not build profiles from that data, and we do not combine it with anything else. What Cloudflare does with the requests it handles is set out in Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Several pages link out, most often to weerbesu's Patreon post, which is the only place we ever send you for the mod file, and sometimes to Mod The Sims, to an official changelog, or to another mod author's own site.

Those are other companies' websites. Once you follow a link, their privacy policy applies and ours stops. They do their own tracking, and we have no control over it and no visibility into it. Nothing about you is passed along when you click: an outbound link here is an ordinary link, with no identifier added to it.

Laws such as the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation give you rights over personal data an organisation holds about you, including the right to see it and the right to have it deleted. We hold none, so in practice there is nothing to request and nothing to erase. The one exception is an email you have sent us, which we can delete on request.

This site is not aimed at children, and it does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.

If you want to check any of this, your browser's developer tools will show you every request a page makes and everything stored for this domain. You should find one document, its stylesheet, a font, some images, and the theme key described above.

If the site ever adds something that changes the answer, an analytics tool or an embedded widget for example, this page is updated before that goes live and the date at the top moves. There is no version of this policy that is quietly different from what the site does.
