Sims 4 UI Cheats

About this site

Updated

sims4uicheats.com is a fan-made reference for one free mod, the UI Cheats Extension by weerbesu, and for the Sims 4 cheat codes that mod saves you typing. It is not run by the mod's author, and it is not run by Electronic Arts or Maxis.

The point of the site is narrow: get the version numbers right, get the install steps right, and say plainly what the mod cannot do. A lot of the pages that rank for these searches are two or three years stale, and a stale version number is the single most common reason a player's game breaks.

Who this site is for

Someone who plays The Sims 4 on a PC or a Mac, wants to cheat without typing commands into a console, and has hit one of the four questions everybody hits: where do I get this, how do I install it, what can it actually change, and why has it stopped working after a patch.

You do not need to know anything about modding to use the site. Every page starts with the answer, and anything technical is written out rather than assumed. If you have never installed a mod before, the install guide is the place to start.

What the site covers

  • The UI Cheats Extension itself: where to get it, how to install it on Windows and macOS, every feature panel by panel, the full version history, and what to do when it stops working.
  • The questions that come up before installing: whether it is safe, whether it works on console, and how it compares with MC Command Center.
  • The Sims 4 cheat codes themselves, grouped by what they do. That is the cheat code list, and it covers the things the mod does not, such as Build mode, pregnancy and death.

It does not cover custom content, other mods in any depth, or anything about the game that is not a cheat. There are better sites for all three.

Where the facts come from

There is one rule behind every page: the mod's author is the source of truth about the mod. In practice that means a fact gets on this site in this order of preference.

  1. weerbesu's own Patreon post, which is the official release post for the mod and carries the feature list, the requirements and the compatibility notes.
  2. weerbesu's own changelog site, which is where the release history and the game version each build was made for come from.
  3. The Mod The Sims listing for the Legacy Edition build, which is the only place the author points to for that older version.
  4. Third-party guides, and only when at least two independent ones agree. Where a detail rests on those guides rather than on the author, the page says so.

Anything we could not confirm is either left out or marked as unconfirmed in the sentence where it appears. We do not round numbers up, we do not repeat statistics that have no source behind them, and we do not invent a command, a file path or a date to fill a gap. If a claim is not on a page here, it is usually because it could not be checked.

The same rule applies to the cheat codes. Commands are cross-checked before they are listed, and the ones that no longer work, or that only worked in older patches, are kept in a separate section rather than quietly left in the main tables.

What we do not publish

We do not host the mod file, and we do not link to copies of it on file hosts or mod aggregator sites. Copies of the UI Cheats Extension circulate on sites that have nothing to do with weerbesu, and there is no way for us or for you to tell what has been changed inside one of those archives.

The only download link anywhere on this site is the author's own Patreon post, which is free and needs no pledge. That is the case on the download page and it is the case in every sentence that mentions getting the file. If you want the longer version of the argument, it is on the page about whether UI Cheats is safe.

We also do not publish screenshots of the game or reuse the game's own interface art, and there is no advertising, no sponsored placement and no affiliate link on any page.

How the site stays current

The mod changes when the game changes. weerbesu has shipped a new build after most Sims 4 patches since June 2015, and a build made for an older patch will glitch the interface rather than fail cleanly, so a version number on a page is a promise that has to be kept.

Every page carries the date it was last checked, and pages about the mod also carry the mod version and the game version that build was made for. Today those are v1.59.1, released 27 August 2026, built for game version 1.127.41, last checked 22 September 2026. When those numbers move, the version history is the page that moves first.

Telling us we got something wrong

Email contact@sims4uicheats.com with the address of the page, the sentence that is wrong, and what it should say. A link to the source you are working from makes it much faster, because the correction gets checked against a source before it goes live, the same as everything else.

Corrections that turn out to be right are made on the page, and the last-checked date moves with them. Ones we cannot confirm get a reply explaining why rather than a silent no. The contact page has the detail on what to include.

One thing to keep in mind: we are not the mod's author and we cannot fix a bug in the mod. If the mod itself is misbehaving after you have worked through the troubleshooting steps, the comments on weerbesu's Patreon post are the right place to raise it.

The disclaimer

sims4uicheats.com is a fan-made guide. It is not affiliated with Electronic Arts, Maxis, or the mod's author. The Sims is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc.

UI Cheats Extension is weerbesu's work, and MC Command Center is Deaderpool's. Naming either of them here does not mean either author has reviewed, approved or endorsed this site. Installing mods is something you do at your own risk, and backing up your saves before you add one is always the cheaper option.
